I remember seeing something like this on the old forum and haven't seen it here so:
What cards do you personally think are tournament worthy yet never show up in any decks and why should people consider playing them?

I can think of quite a few.
I've found that Shadow Blade, while awesome, and recognisably so, is actually quite rarely run. I can see why. If you look at the resources it carries, there are 2/1 checks you'd rather run than it. Feline Spike, Tsurane Kiri and Darkness Blade jump to mind.
Diving Wind Kick Throw is also awesome and not spoken of very often. If you're playing it in the correct deck, your opponent WILL NOT be able to block it if you play it's enhance, and you'll need little else to back it up. Fight Or Flight it and you've pretty much got a killer right there.
With the amount of momentum gain floating about, I'm surprised that Jingu Staff isn't played more often. In fact that goes for a lot of the weapons/assets from set 10. Ankou's damage reduction is pretty nasty when you consider attacks like Tsurane Kiri and Tsuji Hayate are weapon attacks. But more importantly, you have the choice whether you want to play it as an asset or not.
Speaking of which, Tsuji Hayate and Charlie's Fierce Punch are both cards I see played rarely, while both being very very awesome. Perhaps Red Lotus Of The Sun has put people off that much...
There are a lot of cards I haven't seen see play from Deadly Ground, but probably do, like Sniping Arrow, Spinning Back Fist, Spiral Arrow, Narcissistic, Juli's Spin Drive Smasher and more. In general, I think the set is underrun, but when you look at Realm Of Midnight, you can see why.
Big Cyclone.
Consider this : Ways of Punishment is probably the best thing since sliced bread. ONE Big Cyclone and your opponent's plans are for naught if he Punished you before pumping his attack. There's a good chance he won't be able to kill you due to the static on BC and he now has to contend with a 4mid/10 if his attack doesn't kill you.
I agree with Charlie's Fierce Punch and Shadow Blade. Both are amazing cards that give Good access to foundation control.
Alluring Beauty is a pretty nifty card that I hardly see. It has a steep cost, but I have seen cases where it has proven amazing!
Inhuman perception , Shadow blade , darkness blade, yellow gi , those are my picks currently .
Resolution Through Force.
Think about it.
Yellow Gi and Mysterious Stance are both super-awesome, under-used cards.

I was actually thinking about this just the other day. Quickie rules check - The attack you play with RTF would resolve before the card which is being played, because you activate after the CC has been made, yes? In fact, if you play Chain Throw, could you possibly Stun your opponent into failing his check?
It boggles my mind that Inhuman Perception doesn't see play. I mean, yeah, those symbols don't have much draw power, but it's got very good stats and it's R negation . Yes, I will be Roaming the World. No, you're not going to hit me with that Feline Spike reversal. etc.
Shadow Blade goes in every hybrid or control deck that even splashes one of those symbols, it's the poor man's Ira Spinta.
your opponent still has the window to pass/fail the check before your RTF'd attack starts to resolve, but if it's an attack vs. an attack, the RTF'd attack will resolve first because it was played first, via the response on RTF.

The new Taki chortles at this statement. CHORTLES.
Seriously I didn't think she was that awesome, but I built a deck around her, and the potential is there. B3 there's not enough cards to support it, but B2 she is an absolute monster. Even her vanilla attacks (Hurricane Punishment anyone?) have enormous potential, and her 0/4 action that discards the attack, itself AND makes you draw a card is far more ridiculous than I realized.
Spinta and that action means you get a momentum to fuel something else, you draw two cards and a CLEAR card pool at the cost of a committed foundation and that foundation your opponent sends into momentum.
Resolution Through Force is one of those cards that almost no one has, so it doesn't see play.
My favorite is Eminence. I had a deck that was **Huitzil** + Daily Routine + Eminence. It's kill card was Criminal Uppercut. Anyone remember Ruler of Southtown?

Ruler of Southtown + Traditional Style + 1CC Akuma was pure fun.
Cammy's Low Punch
i think i'm the only person who's ever used this card. the raw numbers and the desperation of 2 on an attack that can be absurded and Unrequited Love'd after a string of other attacks like chain throw and clones? gamesetmatch.
If I wasn't so quick to switch to 4 branch shuriken I'd have used it more. It's a very solid attack.
Silver Spoon sure it is a diff 4 foundation but it's response not being a commit makes it awesome in my mind.
Mark of the beast and Ichi have also been somie under used cards which I have used both for a very long time .
chalenges only + akuma = nasty. chalenges should be played more.
