I'll definitely try that!

SPOILER Last week, they played the mission on the Ketanna, and killed rJet Troopers, eJet Troopers, 2 rProbe and 1 eProbe Droid on turn one. I did wound Fenn in return, but Mak rolled three dodges in a row to really rub salt in the wound. :D

Wait, they did this on Turn 1, as in the first activation? Or during Round 1?

Either way, that's really rough.

I mean, I don't think it's even possible in 1 activation... maybe with an incredibly lucky Verena? No, it must be Round 1.

Yeah, that's what? 37 damage? In one activation that's tough.

I've mentioned previously that I've seen Gharkhaan and Verena combine to kill 6 stormtoopers in one activation, which is about half of that number (18 health). 37 seems... possible I think, but still pretty outrageous.

Okay, now we need do find a hero/ability/dice roll combo that lets you do 37 damage in one activation :D

Actually, I think with poor figure placement, a Way of the Sarlaac Diala and a fully-upgraded Verena could probably do that without much trouble.

They killed them on turn one. Not one activation.:D

It was a group effort, but it basically meant that the rest of the mission was an easy cleanup for them.

Actually, doing 37 damage is quite possible, but it would require some pretty high health targets. Blast actually makes it easy, if the targets are positioned well.

IE:

C3PO focused everyone, then we have Gideon, Mak, Fenn, they all have some three die weapons. Gideon commands, a focused Mak (let's say he has a Pulse Cannon and something that allows him to swap one dice) shoots and uses No Escape for two RBGG attacks, which can deal 10 damage each. That's 20 damage in one half-action!

Fenn shooting into a cluster is every crazier, as his abilities allow him to blast everything for 3 (I think), which alone adds up to 21 damage (24 if you give him something to ignore figures when determining LOS. A focused shot should deal another 8-10, so we're looking at around 50 damage from one Gideon action. Gideon can take a shot with his other action, dealing around 10 more damage, so that's around 60 altogether. :D

How did C3P0 focus everyone?

Spent a few turns doing it? "Okay, now we need do find a hero/ability/dice roll combo that lets you do 37 damage in one activation." With one focus, that's about 4 damage less. With no focus, that's around 6 damage less, so still around 55.

But if you spend a few turns focusing everybody, then you're not maximising efficiency... A focus should never last a round.

Hypothetical, people. The situation is wonky, but I get what @burek277 is trying to say.

I was trying to think of a combination that could do it in the first activation of Round 1, and with the initial group placement of that mission. From that setup, it looks like Diala + Verena could actually have a chance. Diala strain moves up, Force Throws a Jet Trooper adjacent to both her and Verena to get a 4X Way of the Sarlaac with any weapon that has Cleave 2, then Verena CQ's her way through the group, putting damage on everything that wasn't caught in the Way of the Sarlaac... Then Diala's second action could Dancing Weapon something that Verena ended up next to to finish it off and get her rolling again... oh and Diala could have the Emergency Bacta Injector thingy to remove Strain from Verena.

Probably doable. Maybe I'll actually work out the math (and ability timing issues...) sometime.

"Turn" isn't a campaign term, but it is basically synonymous with an activation. You mean "round" which is a set of turns. Or you could say "activation phase."
