I am inclined to skip the day one hammer. I could be convinced to gank Norell, if people wanna take a shot on the possibility that he was role fishing.
Hopefully we have useful power roles out there that can do work during the evening.

Yeah, it would be quite annoying to avoid hanging a bodyguard and end up hanging another power role

11 Players alive = 6 to Hammer. 6 Hours Until Night
Players:
4 Hours Until Night
So, it appears we won't have any consensus for a hammer today unless something changes in the next 4 hours, considering we aren't even close. I'll make a few notes here then:
Truthiness: Fairly active. Jumped on me for starting conversation, has since backed off on it a little when it was questioned; prefers no hammer day 1 (for statistical reasons). Has stood by that opinion, and it has mainly been his only interaction besides defending himself for jumping on me, which was tied back to his belief in no hammer day 1. Asked for Caribbean Ninja's input after a time of some silence.
Madaghmire: Fairly active. Short posts (mostly bantering), gathering information according to himself. Says he is wary of repeating last game and hammering a power role. Was drawn out with some friendly banter with Tirion (some saw it as suspicious). Has been quite silent other than that.
Ovinomanc3r: Fairly active. Has mostly remained neutral in any discussion, pointing out information (some already known) about both sides of the arguments. Says he trusts PT and Onidsen due to their support of a day 1 hammer.
GhostofNobodyInParticular: Barely active. The quietest in the group, only posting to confirm role, and then once more to side with #TeamNoHammerDay1. Says he was listening, but say merit to both arguments; decided to play it safe.
Visovics: Very Active. Also jumped on me for kickstarting the discussion. Potential role fishing (makes sense if he is bodyguard role as claimed). Had 4 votes until claim, voters backed off for now. Voted for Truthiness based on his suspicion of me; possibly a vote to try and push attention off of himself, which if he is Hutt, would most likely mean Truthiness is not (pending Hutt mindgames), but Visovics did seem to accept his word would mean less while targeted, and didn't push back as hard as I would expect a Hutt member to do.
Caribbean Ninja: Barely active. Voiced agreement with the day 1 hammer, even with some confessed doubts as to its validity. Other posts expressed suspicion on Ovinomanc3r (for trusting PT and Onidsen) and Visovics (for role fishing). Withheld vote, even though agreed with day 1 hammer, possibly to avoid putting Visovics at h-1. Was called out on absence from the thread, showed up rapidly thereafter.
Onidsen: Barely active. Being an experienced player, voiced approval at a day 1 hammer, at least with the intent of kickstarting discussion. Voted for Visovics "on principle", unvoted after the claim. Also has answered a few game related questions, showing he is at least paying attention (maybe more closely than we realize). His vote "on principle" was also for the person with the most votes at that time, but he didn't voice any opinions as to why he voted (something that is important to do, and something I would expect of an experienced player). This could be a cover for a Hutt member to try and push an innocent hammer?
PT106: Fairly active. Most post have been on the topic of him seeming confused about who we are hunting (he thinks rebels). This has been pushed, even after we have corrected him. This is either for humor/playing in character that was spontaneously created (I like good role-play at times too), or maybe as a cover for a Hutt member? Maybe he is a wildcard role actually hunting rebels (third faction? Does this happen?), in which case Visovics might need to look out! PT also supported a day 1 hammer, for discussion purposes, and quickly jumped on the Visovics hammer train. Failed to give any reasons for doing so.
Tirion: Fairly active. Joined the conversation a page or so in (not unusual, but delays can mean they are off coordinating with Mafia members; or maybe it means they just had IRL stuff to do!). Expressed concern after last game about the day 1 hammer, but expressed some agreement with my early assessments against Visovics; eventually decided to join #TeamHammerDay1 (though he never actually voted, stating not wanting to put Visovics at h-1). Expressed some concern at Truthiness's actions towards me. Questioned Madaghmire; some thought it appeared overly friendly (maybe due to both being in the last game?), admitted that it was a device to get Madaghmire into the conversation and try to fish for information. Came to Caribbean Ninja's defense for not being active (saying "I said it last game I'll say it again this game just because you haven't posted in a little bit doesn't mean anything "), but then questioned me for being quiet over the night (saying "Might not mean anything but JJ sure has gotten pretty quite. ", and to my response "Not completely dismissing it but fair enough. You do have a fancy trophy and all!"). I find it a rather interesting switch from, "it doesn't mean anything" to "Not completely dismissing it".
Norell: Barely active. Started off by jumping on me for discussion starting, also expressed the opinion that we shouldn't hammer day 1, followed it up much later with a statement though could possibly be taken as fishing for the cop role. Said the question was based of not being sure of the game mechanics for this particular game. Has faded back into silence since.
JJs Juggernaut: Fairly active. Started the day 1 discussion by throwing out Caribbean Ninja and Truthiness as suspects, though I didn't vote on either (I said it was to kickstart the conversation). I became suspicious of Visovics, Norell, and Truthiness for the kickback on my initial post. Visovics seemed role fishing caused me to vote for him, but that vote was withdrawn after his claiming of a bodyguard role. I voiced my opinion that a day 1 hammer was important, at least to cause discussion.
There we have it folks! I tried to do my best to summarizes what has happened so far, if you think I missed anything definitely add it down below. Hopefully this gives us all a good overview of what has happened without needed to reread 7 pages. I also hope I don't get night killed for being a vocal Moisture Farmer, which is possible if I've made Hutt members feel uncomfortable. Of course now that I mention that, they could kill me to point the blame at people I suspect (if they are townies)...
**** it! I was going to bold the names to make it more readable, but forgot and hit post! I wish I could edit!
Yeah that about sums it up.

Here ya go. (Although I disagree with "barely" active.
)
Also, this could be just me making **** up, but it is interesting how there was A LOT of discussion this Day 1, and it looks like no hammer. While last game, it seems like there was less discussion but we got a hammer off.
We will see where it goes from here. I guarantee that discussion WILL pick up.

Let me see if I can channel my inner ardahel.
You did conveniently leave out things in your section on yourself. You slipped them into other's sections however.
Other people are listed in your review as having gone quite or barely posted since. But when you did that yourself it was presented in a way that you were being victimized by inconsistent behavior.
When it was mentioned in other's sections that they were pointing the finger at you it was not painted in a neutral way either. Often when you come up on other's sections it is as a victim.
To me this appears as a narrative trying to be written in which JJ is viewed on a certain light, not scum.
To be fair though if I really am channeling my inner Ard, he got Gink killed last game and that didn't work out well for us.
Perhaps because this is the light in which I see myself? Being town tends to mean you see others going after you as suspicious. I tried to be as objective as possible when write this, mainly since it was a summary. Also, are you denying the fact that you were being inconsistent? Perhaps deflecting onto me? Also, when I pointed out people has been going silent, it wasn't used in a negative way...so perhaps your perceptions are influencing that?

Nope I just wasn't clear in my initial comment or my one about you.
In my initial one it was due to him kinda being late to the party as I was last game it to VERY nearly got me hanged day 1.
When I brought it up with you it was simply that you had been active and we're no longer. That was all. I didn't make it clear enough after that that any suspicion directed at you was no longer being weighted with your absence.
I plead not guilty to the charge of barely active. Well, maybe. These things go much faster on this forum. My participation so far would be considered well within the bounds of an active player from what I'm used to. If y'all think I'm not participating enough, I can try to step up a little.
In the interest of full disclosure, I'm playing in one of these on another forum, in addition to GMing a third. So you can expect activity out of me, but don't expect me to post every hour.
Given the lateness of the hour, the specifics of the rules, and given that we've gotten a pretty good discussion so far, I'm not too fussed about hanging anyone right now.
It would be nice to try and put pressure on a second suspect, but without a decent consensus, that'll be tough.
I'm up for trying ##vote Norell, though, if we're really interested on seeing how he reacts under pressure.
Well, we only have a few hours to go, but I'd be interested to see what comes of that as well ##vote Norell
@Norell what do you have to say for yourself? Having been against the day 1 hammer, but also appearing to fish for the cop role, you are under suspicion.

That should be 2 for Norell Biggs.
Onidsen buried it in his long post so I didn't see it.
What do you think about switching?
Just now, Tirion said:What do you think about switching?
While the idea itself does have a merit in principle, I don't believe that at this stage any hammer threat is credible enough.
Well, im willing to try. I think he was role fishing.

11 Players alive = 6 to Hammer. IT IS NOW NIGHT 1

While a sizable portion of the town wanted to kill Norell, it wasn't enough. They settled on waiting for investigations throughout the night. Hopefully, the Hutt Scum would be merciful to them.
It is now Night! Do not post in the thread! Day 2 begins in 24 hours, or when I get everyone's night actions in... so get your night actions in. Midnight is no fit time to be switching from day to night, I'd rather be flipping things at 8pm local time if you'd be so kind.
