I just got the core game. What expansion should I get next?

I have Hoth and Jabba's Realm.

I'd get Jabba's Realm if I were you.

You should play the core game first (campaign and skirmish), then you will know better which expansions you want to get.

That's a difficult question without more information on your side.

* Have you played the core box contents?
* Did you play Skirmish or Campaign?
* Which did you enjoy more?
* What did and did you not enjoy in the core box?

With answers to these, we can give better recommendation.

Honestly, if you're looking to get competitive, check out the Skirmish forums here- there are plenty of lists people share around. There's also a pretty neat Imperial Assault Skirmish Command Post Facebook group that has a lot of list sharing.

If you just want stuff for campaign, just get what you're interested in, just make sure you're getting the corresponding expansion box before you get the blisters that go with it (there's a good resource here that makes it pretty clear what expansions you need for what blisters). For instance, if you like Boba Fett, get Twin Shadows. He's not great in the game, but if theme is what you're after then who's to blame you for getting what you like?

And once again, I think we really need a thread like this to be stickied, but that's just me.

I think Jabba's Realm is probably the best value for skirmish and for campaign. It gives you a ton of cool characters (some miniatures, some tokens), the campaign has plenty of interesting twists and some of the most powerful skirmish decks run mostly deployment cards from this box.

I'll echo what most people above have said and that's; It Depends.

What format of the game are you playing? Skirmish or Campaign?

Add in Twin Shadows and Hoth for alot of diversity.
