This is how I plan to test her for a while. The problem is you don't get it every round (unless you don't need a token). The one game I tested so far, I got and used the evade once, then didn't get to recharge it before I died

Intensity on Guri with Fire Control System/Autothrusters should be all you need really.

Intensity gives you access to the evade token you seriously need. Guri ability gives you a focus when you are in range one and fire control keeps your shots smashing home. Autothrusters are there for the focus + evade + three agility + autothrusters jank against turret ships and to put people off the range 3 shot.

All for 33 points.

Another option for an EPT would be Lone Wolf. With AS and AT, she would make one heck of a flanker.

The Starviper was slippery before, now it's going to be absolutely superb. The title really benefits Xizor who can get to PS9 with VI to maximise the arc dodging opportunities but it's still decent on Guri. Will be extremely interesting to see what the other named pilots have. I could easily foresee the Viper becoming a staple ship for me going forward.

Beautiful ship, now with shenanigans to match. Adds to existing pilots rather than totally invalidating them with a better replacement.

There is now a reason (beyond the expense) to have someone other than Xizor take that hit.

As we all know by now, the new MKII title allows the Starviper to perform a banked barrel roll. Since the only other ship that can perform this is relatively untested (poor Lt. Lorrir), I thought I would play around in Vassal and see what new possibilities are opened up by the title. It turns out there are quite a lot. Nothing too crazy here. The most notable results is that the viper can turn essentially drift to the side and then turn 90 degrees (bank followed by a BR in the same direction), and flip almost 145 degrees on the spot (1 hard followed by a bank in the same direction)

Here are all of the possible endings if you perform a standard maneuver, and then BR forward:

As you can see, the Starviper can end up pointing in almost any direction, and is especially notable for its ability to essentially move straight forward and then turn at 90 degrees (bank followed by a BR in the opposite direction).

The Starviper is now a better Tie striker or Tie Phantom... Yay

With AS and the title there's a lot of options for turning without needing the sloops.l if you run expertise. Predator means you still need to focus or get her ability to fully modify shots, but means you get refills too, and have that even if you don't get a focus. Intensity lets you get evades to go with her free focus, but requires recharging. The one game I've tested it so far she got to use it once then died before she could recharge

Agreed, with Intensity on Xizor I think I recharged 3 times, and once it was because I intentionally didn't use my focus token when he was damaged and I passed it to a Thug, and once because I had a focus token unused because he shot at the Thug since it only had 1 AGI

Mostly it'll look the same because the cloak will fall off before doing anything meaningful XD
