didn't say being a sith, said having a sith mentor who was trying to corrupt the innocent newb full of potential without letting on that he's a sith. interesting story telling there. but having a sith mentor makes staying lightside nearly impossible.

Isn't that the point of the Sith mentors? Staying on the light side while accepting their teachings is nearly impossible …

...You know, I am struck by a revelation. Much to Learn lets you gift one talent you possess to up to five allies. If the talent is ranked, they have as many ranks as you do.

Force Rating is a ranked talent.

...I think I'll leave off there...

There is a problem with that. Force Rating is a force talent. Awesome to boost the power of a whole group of force sensitives. Especially as this should stack with their own ranks. :)

It doesn't stack. The subject's ranks are set to equal yours, not added to.

I stand corrected.
Trolling you the party you can with this Young Skywalker then.

Just fire it up when your FR is two while the party is already running around with 3 or 4 for the most part :D Bring balance to the force. I bet this is what Vader did to Palpatine before deciding to throw him into a trench, poor Palp suddenly had no force dice left safe himself as all remaining had been committed already to other things. ;-)

Only question I have is lightsaber crystals, are colors mentioned ? What types are there of these crystals ? Anything defensive ?

Cracked crystals would have standard kyber colors. Corrupted ones are red, while seeker crystals are a soft pink. Solari crystals don't have a color listed, but since they're considered a type of kyber crystal they'd presumably share the same colors, albeit with their stated wider blades.

I totally avoided this thread as I didn't want any spoilers and.....

my copy has finally arrived!!! :)

A solari crystal produces an orange blade.

What are seeker crystals?

There's this but it doesn't really help much :( apologies if someone has already posted - I'm not scrolling through 11 pages

I'm not sure where you got that from. Solari crystals can be of any color. It was only Saela Nuur's crystal that was specifically orange. To quote:

While Shaela Nuur 's crystal had an orange hue to it, other solari crystals could imbue a lightsaber's energy plasma blade with a variety of colors. [3]

I was always under the impression based on the description on KotOR that it was a unique gem. My bad.

Nope. If it were unique, then it wouldn't really be suited as a (relatively) widely available lightsaber crystal attachment. It would be a special quest item.

Regarding Solari Crystal - The text describes it as being useful to deflect blasters, but its abilities and mods are all Defensive (helps with melee attacks, not ranged attacks), rather than Deflection. Should it replace the Defensive quality with the Deflection quality for the base modifiers and available mod options?

The Fluff and Mechanics do not have to match. Some times they are written by two different people and in any case, things are adjusted through playtesting. Whenin doubt, always go with the crunch rather than the fluff.

Looked through the post, didn't see anything so hopefully I can get some clarification. :)

With the ebb/Flow force talent, when it states "the force user may not activate this multiple times" on the basic level. What does that mean exactly?

Only once per turn, once per encounter? Please and thank you!
