Considering the new titles for the Kiraxz and StarViper, in comparison, are the B-wing and G-IA Starfighter too expensive for what they bring? I was thinking they needed to drop a point each to compete. (I play casually, so I use the casual errata in the X-Wing Beginner's Guide)... I am also the document's author :-)
B-wing and G-IA Starfighter Overcostez
Bwing just needs to be able to use red maneuvers and barrel rolls when lightly stressed.
Like, Primed Thrusters and Hera crew as a title.
B-Wings need to be able to take Reinforced Deflectors.
I know what you mean... But I think that both of these have enough options that they can be 'fixed' by some combination of widely available upgrades.
Admittedly, that might only lead to one or two builds rather than making the full ship viable, but with so many ships in the game we don't need very many options for each.
Kihraxz and Starviper both suffered from having directly comparable ships that were just better at what they do. I don’t think G-1a or B have a direct replacement, they just don't fit very well right now.
Punisher says "hello" as you left him sitting on the front steps....he said "thanks guys, I thought we were friends."

Another ship where the fix exists but it's not allowed to take it...
Ordnance Tubes (heavily discounted of course)
Yeah, I think the G1-A and the B-wing don't necessarily have inherent overcosting problems - just their style of ship isn't as effective in the game right now. Even with the fix people still may not run generic StarVipers like people run B-Wings, for instance.
However, I feel like the B-Wing and even maybe the G1-A are not inherent "chassis" problems, the B-Wing is still probably an incredibly efficient platform and G1s won a couple regionals last year. They can probably be helped with finding the right tech in the game to put on them and their fairly diverse upgrade bars. And errata /E2 to be a title.

^^^ It wasn't so long ago that the B-Wing was considered to be the metric against all other Rebel ships were measured, and now we're already talking about how it's overcosted?
The chassis is fine. It's just that the things these ships were good at (tanky, modular low-PS ships with control options and 3-dice attacks) are not things that are considered in-demand in the current meta. They've largely been displaced by the TLT Y-Wing.
The guy who won Austin regionals last year had 3 G1-A's in his list and a Z
B Wings could really use something like Reinforce as an action or Tie/D esq title. Or actions on red moves. Right now there just isn't enough that makes them unique compared to T-70's, Arcs or Y-Wings.
Y-Wings have the stresshog, or TLT horton (or tlt in general) and the Arc has all sorts of fun builds. T-70's are basically B-Wings with a better dial and a tech instead of a system.
Maybe FCS would be broken with a Tie/D esq title though. .....
If they ever do an X-Wing 2.0, I think Cannon Slot upgrades should be changed from a secondary weapon into a modifier for your primary attack. The various control cannons would be much more valuable if they didn't force you to sacrifice damage to make them work, and you could still add range restrictions where the cannons wouldn't be as effective. That would have given a lot more utility value to B-Wings, Firesprays, Defenders and Lambda Shuttles without the need for titles.
I mean, ever since the Auzituck got announced I've personally been advocating that if we want to specifically give Rebels a jousting boost, give them a small-ship EPT or something to stick a reinforce token ONLY on the fore (and preferably as some form of action so they can't just K-turn and set it right back up) so they have strength on an initial pass, but can still get caught out in a flank or by action denial. Shouldn't even be too expensive since it's a conditional action. We'll probably have to wait until Reinforce hits wider tables before they really start planning something like that, though.
G1-A may be a lesser ship but its not bad by any means. Its better than a good deal of ships out there.
Bwings i'd agree are in a bad spot, though nobody is as bad as the Punisher. Keyan atleast still sees table time fairly often in my area, Punisher literally doesnt exist lol
Punisher has already been fixed in my guide haha... I'll probably just leave B-wing and G-IA 's alone for now then as that's where I was leaning but I wasn't sure.

I think cannon slot is a problem that could be adressed with a discount on cannon upgrades for 3 att ships (that dont already attack twice ^^). Right now theres really little reason to put that prixe on a cannon if you already got 3 dice.
I know meta changes but I find it really hard to mentally pigeonhole the B-wing as an "overcosted" ship.
Drop the cost for the crew mod for B-Wing to 0. Done.
I wouldn't mind a -1 cost on the B-wing and a TIE X/7 ish title, or better yet a straight up copy of the TIE/D title if nothing else(vasaki title rip off would be a dream come true). The Generics are fine(but oh how I crave that custom PS 5 blade squadron pilot with his/her EPT), but any named ship other than Nera with the new toys (Extra munitions/Guidance chimps) and your looking at a 40 point "Ace"(roughly), at the very least. And for 40 points you can take allot more useful options. Keyan see's some play due to his unique pilot ability, but it's rare someone bust out Tien numb when you can bring Poe Dameron for roughly the same costs, and Poe will survive longer. Also istabam who?
Generic B-wing's price is quite good. System & cannon slots are great combo.
The big problem I have is the 2K. Most other rebel small ships have at least 3/4K, but it having a 2K makes it difficult to fly in squads close together and impossible to K-turn around a large base ship. They can make it cheaper but that's not going to help it from being focused down on when its off by itself.
