Why tho. If it was modification on an unsuccessful result into a successful result that'd be something good but is changing a success to a slightly better(?) success actually good for the well contested team spot?

I think the perk is that it's 1 point, where the others are 4+, right? Also, it's not limited.

Weird that "thug droid" is a Team and not a crew.

Not really? I mean, there's only like 4 Team slot upgrades right now, and I don't think any of them are faction specific? I don't (haven't) played epic, so I could easily be wrong.

I only mean it from a flavor perspective. "Thug Droids" is a very specific name that seems out of place on any Imperial vessel, and the IG-series has been pretty specific to Scum. If they'd even gone with "Security Droid Team," or something broad like that, it'd fit more.

Wish it was a focus to hit. Currently focus results are blanks for epics, unless you got Esque.

So a much better mercenary co-pilot that takes up a team slot instead of a crew which is more common on 2 section ships than single section huge ships. So better on the Gunship type corvettes, although I don't think they need crits as much as they need miss-to-hit dice modifications.

Could work if you have a point to spare for scum epic with the c-roc, and I don't own one so I cannot be sure but I thought the gozanti (or at least certain titles) have a team slot as well? For one point if you haven't found a place to put that point elsewhere it may be ok. I agree that I'd rather see a single focus to hit or something like that but eh, one point.

Well it could work on any ships except for a GR-75 unless through a house rule or some other method it gets a secondary weapon. However with an upgrade like that and since it is not once per round you want as many triggers as possible, so ships that can attack more than once like the Raider and the CR-90 will find it more useful than the Gozanti or C-Roc.
