Okay, just one more list here, for RLB's

I do love list building, and talking about them afterwards. I really want to find a way to get RLB's to work well. What do you guys think of this?:

Zombie Launch Bays

- Rapid Launch Bays ( 6 points)
= 38 total ship cost

GR-75 Combat Retrofits (24 points)
- Rapid Launch Bays ( 6 points)
- Bomber Command Center ( 8 points)
= 38 total ship cost

I'm thinking Nora, Keyan, and Gold (or Dagger) on the AF, then Luke and Nym on a transport, with Dagger(or Gold) and Green on the last. I know Green is fast, but this way protects them for a while.

I figured the combat variants since they'll be flying into the teeth of the enemy, may as well get a die or two out of them. That is also the reason behind using Rieekan, to guarantee they get to launch those fighters. Bright hope just plays life boat or emergency fighter command.

Also, I think this may be the best use of Gallant Haven possible, with the RLB's (I'm sure I'm not the first to think of this).

Fixing the List

Your commander is shown as dodonna not reikan so you are over points if you swap him and will have to drop stuff.

Oops. Was playing with it and goofed

Fixed. I had a martini just before posting, so didn't double check I'd reset it to what it was supposed to be, lol.

Not to be a pain but the list is still buggered lol. Hard to tell ya much if it looks any good or not when the points don't match up.

I get what you are trying to do though and it's a pain in the butt to fly against

You'll get the fighters on target, the usual issue of GR-75 Q-ships. The question is whether or not the bombers can do enough when they get there. I would be curious to see how this fares against an intelligent screen (one that sits on its charges so you can't deploy unengaged) or a high-speed list (Clonisher or Cracken), since they in theory take advantage of this list's weaknesses. The Cracken list will probably give you a hard time just catching it; the screen may or may not work depending on concentration of forces. That's a much higher skill floor to deal with.

Yeah, sorry. Started list before drink, posted after, and tried to fix while buzzed. :-( No more boozey posting for me! lol

Thanks. That was exactly the kind of analysis I was looking for. I'll have to give it a try in a home game and see how it goes.
