So as someone in the logistics industry, space is the commodity; you don't waste it by holding onto something you could otherwise be selling.
If they wanted to hold onto things for extended periods of time, they would just give a fixed release date several weeks out of the intended arrival date and then wait to sell it. That doesn't make any sense. Marketing model for certain games aside (namely LCGs), they have no reason not to sell something as soon as they are able.

Your sarcasm detection sensor is greatly out of calibration.
building anticipation by holding an item for sale a bit longer does improve sales a little, but its largely more annoying than beneficial.
Honestly the once a month release is nice for me cause I can easily budget $100 for things a month...
Yeah same here. $100 a month is kinda standard for miniature games (speaking from 40k perspectives lol).
Currently im just buying 1 of everything, not bothering with repeats as of yet. Pretty much only collecting initial waiqar so i can demo a full game anyway.

So far I have bought 2 waiqar command 1 archer 1 daqan command and 2 oathsworn...the next wave i'm buying 1 of each, and I probably will just buy 1 of the elves, then see what their main unit will be for me and what the support will be...I'll buy 2-3dk's though and possibly no crossbows...
It's now official on the Upcoming page: the next wave releases June 15th.

Armada was shipped on a Victory class, Runewars get shipped on a CR90 with engine techs.
Star Wars RPG has an adventure book on the boat right now going back to March.
On one hand: TOO FAST IM NOT DONE PAINTING!!
On the other hand: I really, really want a hero that does something (Hawthorne).... Kari is so annoying since her army perk is useless atm and shes basically just a random heavy hitter on the board. I actually find she dies alot if i try to abuse her surge so i prefer to shoot and dive at weakened targets if i think i can get away with it

Best Kari moment so far, engaging a 4x3 reanimate on the flank (it had my cavalry). Killing Ardus in 2 rounds with surges on his approach

I actually think it's really dumb that Kari was in the core instead of Hawthorne. Ankaur and Kari even have similar army building capabilities. Plus, we would have had to endure less time with her useless ability. The only reason I think they put her in the core was so Daqan weren't completely melee.

That, and the fact that Hawthorne and Ankaur are both dual-model heroes with infantry and cavalry versions.

But they really didn't need to be as far as their design goes. Kari could have been the dual model figure. You design figures after you design the stats. Then you go and do the stats a few more times again lol.
Hawthorne being in the core could still be a dual model. Waiqar get a ranged unit, we get all melee but a more flexible hero.
However his upgrades would be kinda broken in the core alone....
