Nobody "finishes" painting their armies. Theres always a new unpainted one.

So lancers and Golems will be out in July then, elves likely August. This gives me a window to buy my second core, as I buy once a month, and I'll be skipping golems and lancers expansions

Not that this matters to many people but it also means that Elves won't be legal for the tournament at GenCon.

So despite lots of potential arguments, seems FFg is doing their best to stick to waves of 4 SKUs

Wave 1:

Waiqar Infantry

Daqan Infantry

Oathsworn

Reanimate Archers

Wave 2:

Reanimates

Spearmen

Ankaur Maro

kind of glad I won't have to afford the lancers out of this paycheck....but I want more lancers! Also glad armada did not drop at the same time(never thought I'd be happy about a later release).

With golems and worms out, all 6 expansions in the Grow Your Forces 3/3 article will be released. Everything currently on the boat will be available. The Latari Elves army expansion and Essentials Pack were the next products announced on 4/10. They have been at the printer since at least 5/8, and are scheduled for Q3, which starts in July. They've got to be in either wave 3 or 4.

The Crossbowmen and Death Knights only recently went to the printer, I doubt they'll hold up the Carrion Lancer and Rune Golem for them as it seems they should be out soon.

The Crossbowmen and Knights are altogether new units not contained in the core set. I'd like to think they'll come out along with a yet unknown new Elf unit, probably a melee infantry type?

Yeah, you're right ... that's the only thing missing to be announced for Elves to bring them up to par with the other factions...
