So Lion appear to be a momentum based faction. Win a military conflict with the right cards, start to snowball from there.

I bet that this is a mistake. It is clearly a Crane card.

Crane will love to splash this card, especially since it's only 1 influence. Covers their military weakness and gives them additional honor? Crazy good.

They won't be the only ones, obviously. But Lion just became a contender to be brought into Crane honor decks for sure :).

My first thought was to go with Ancestral Daisho from the Dragon, but then the Lion reminded me of the Claws and Feather Alliance, and now I think that Honored Blade is just better to have around.

Another card in which the illustrator gets no credit for their work. We're seeing a lot of that in this core set with the reused art.

I don't know, the artist as Conceptopolis was that way already on the Akodo Daisuke card under AEG.

So begs the following question: Which Clan will have Attachment removal cards?

Scorpion?

Crab?

Mantis? (I know, too early of a bet, but let's just throw this out there)

I doubt Dairuko will ever appear in new5R so it doesn't matter. The art helps portray the card well enough to merit use.

Interesting card just because of that 1 honor and low influence cost. Once we see more Lion cards, they might be great honor runners regardless of whether or not they break the target province. Hmmmm, it actually helps Crane quite a bit too. Gotta put on the old lady (Gift Giver).

I see no Lion Clan champion in the picture.

6 Honor for winning a conflict is a pretty massive swing.

It's the same keyword in LOTR LCG. You can have at most 2 Restricted attachments per character, but they can be the same 2 as long as it's non-Unique.

My templates still need work, but card bugged me. Your attaching an item not a character o.0 Daft thematic disconnect, but it pains me. And for the honor of the Artist! Not those profiting from them.

Not that I'm super serious about these things, this version just works better for me
