She has had significant private tutoring in a lot of areas, including piloting, Bail was kinda paranoid and wanted her to be prepped for anything so she actually had more combat training then Luke or Han, you can see that too from their respective hit rates in ANH. There is a reason she does so well against that TIE swarm in the comic mentioned above. As for force sensitivity its been confirmed that in terms of raw potential she is equal to Luke, she is just mostly untrained so about what Luke could do in ANH.

In other words she could blow up a death star. PS 7 or 8?

yeah that seems right. And an ability that kinda mirrors Luke's but reflects her more aggressive personality. Like: When attacking you may change one [focus] to a [crit]

i'd say a PS 7.. then give her a good pilot ability.

In new canon?

Yes. Both the Shattered Empire comics and the Bloodline novel address it.

I'd rather see a series of clone wars era movie ships brought out than the current obscure, was mentioned in a book or two, ships FFG has been pushing.

They've cut back on those a bit now that Rebels and the new movies are giving them more to work with, I would definitely still like to see more aging Republic era ships for the Rebels though.

The Empire also used V-Wings, before the TIE was developed, so there's that.

And ARCs, as mentioned in Catalyst. Like they did with the Fighter for Sabine, FFG could have two factions using the same ship. And besides, stuff like Etas and ARCs had astromech, so we could see some amazing Imperial only astromechs.

In this case you'll have to have a new slot type for the Empire ships for the same reason the salvaged version was necessary: none of the unique astromech cards are Rebels only so if you did a direct lift you could have R2-D2 working for the Empire.

I think it's best to avoid having to deal with that lol.

Mwa ha ha. The corruption of this R2 unit is complete!

Lord Vader can now use that spunky astromech from his Clone Wars days.
