Hi there. Can mind trick be used on 1 die only ie make a pool of 1 and zero and remove the 1 die?

When fn2199 plays a riot baton and he roles it after playing he gets the option to resolve immediately. If he rerolls it due to the riot batons card text can he then also resolve it?
