Not at GenCon, so not in the tourney. That said, it'll be my first trip to DC so I'm looking forward to NoVa.

I might make GenCon if I can figure out lodging.

I'm 80% sure I won't be going, but that 20% bobs to the surface from time to time. I suspect it will wait around until all the tickets are bought up and then it's impossible. The missus and I bought a new house 2 months ago and we've got a kid on the way in November so while I'm not being a miser with my money, I'm inherently resistant to spending a couple hundred bucks for a gaming convention where I will inevitably want to buy a few more hundred dollars' worth of games.

I had fun last year, but it's just tough for me to sign away 1/4 of my GenCon for one event. I'm there to work, and losing a whole day -- especially the first day -- makes it really tough, sometimes.

26 tickets left for Gencon who else is coming?

I'm super interested in going, I just need to figure out logistics and see if my friend wants to go there or to nationals the weekend after. Sounds like I/we need to decide soon. Thanks for the heads Up about tickets!

I thought they may have been going faster. Destiny sold out the Sunday they went on sale.

August 17th at GenCon in Indianapolis.

Armada is basically first thing all day first day.

I know two people who had to pre-book air travel tickets previously and their flights are arriving after tournament start, and theyr'e very disappointed in that...

Yeah still tickets open for it, I think Gencon is a bit on the huge/busy side which affects the signups. The positive is the Screed card is participation, the next good prize is top 8 so easy to drop if you aren't doing well early

I should be game for that, but I am going in a pack and my first Gencon so I expect I'll be a bit scattered

My first time too!

Buddy and I are going as well, first time at Gencon too. We're also signed up for the team tournament.

Not too sure as to where I don't know the area well if anyone has a suggestion
