Star Wars Rebellion Painted and Magnetized

By robertpolson, in Star Wars: Rebellion

It took several months to complete but painted figures make the game experience a lot more immersive.

Wow this is awesome. The spaceships look so much better when they're on a flight stand :) I am seriously amazed .... wow. Which flight stands did you use and how did you glue them to the ships? I have never done this before

Thank you.

Litko fly stands + magnets from eBay + Super Glue + Black Primer Spray

  • Flight Bases, Circular 20mm, Center Peg Hole
  • Flight Bases, Circular 25mm, Center Peg Hole
  • Standard1/8 -3mmDiameter FlightPegs - Length: 1.25, 1.5, 0.75, 1.0
  • 2x2mm and 3x3mm magnets from eBay
  • Drill the holes in the ships and use Super glue to attach magnets to ships and bases
  • A black primer on bases to cover super glue marks and fingerprints. Looks better in black as well.

These look great! Working on painting my set, too. Nowhere near the level of detail you have, but I totally agree that it's well worth it.

As long as you add some color, the figures are better and the gameplay becomes more enjoyable. To keep things simple, you can dry brush most of the figures and then add a few details.
