If I have PTL, and I focus, then Saboteur...

Can I use that focus token to change the eye result on the saboteur? I'm 99% sure it's no, and only during attacks can a focus be used but someone please make me 100% certain. Thanks

Nope

Double nope.

You cannot spend a focus token to modify Sabatuer, or any other die roll apart from attacking and defending.

You also cannot Focus action, then Push the Limit to use Saboteur. The free action granted by Push the Limit must be on the ship's action bar. Upgrades with the "Action" header don't count.

You can use Experimental Interface to do an action, then another action from an "Action" header upgrade.

You could use the Saboteur "Action" to trigger PrL and allow you perform a Focus action from you Action bar. Still doesn't change that the Focus token will not do anything for Saboteur.

As of now the only thing that can modify the die roll of Saboteur is Emperor Palpatine. However you will have to announce your intentions to use Emperor Palpatine before you roll for Saboteur under the new errata. If you don't it is considered a miss opportunity and the roll stands.
