I'm working on a project, similar to a competitive version of Heroes of the Atturi Cluster, and I'm looking for input. But I'm hoping this could also be a fun design exercise.
1. What are some pilot abilities that would be ridiculously too good if the pilot were driving a different machine?
The first big example that I thought of was Pure Sabacc piloting a TIE/x7 Defender. Come up with some of the most insane combinations of pilot/ship that you can, please. The preference would be to stay within the same faction, but if you can think of some fun cross-faction examples, those might be interesting also.
2. What change could you make to the pilot ability that keeps the power level about the same from the original ship to the new ship.
Using the above example, if Pure Sabacc's ability was "...until you suffer 2 or more hits or crits..." then I think it would be fine even in other ships, and exactly identical in his original ride.
