My local store finally got cards in! And all 5 packs I just opened...had the incorrect die.

By Reactor Terminal, in Star Wars: Destiny

I was excited to finally buy some cards....and now I have to mail my receipt and take pictures to send off to FFG...not really the best experience. Anyone else having issues yet with SOR?

I bought a full box and three of the packs had the incorrect die. Luckily, they matched each other so I don't have to contact anyone to get new cards...

That is very frustrating and kinda scary. We spend a tremendous amount of money on this game to double buy. I have yet to check any of my dice, I guess I should. It is very hard to play with incorrect dice unless they are way off. Wait! Do you guys mean wrong printing or just flat out wrong dice?

Flat out wrong.

My "Lure of Power" card had the "Jedi Acolyte" die.

My "Snap" card had the "Lure of Power" die.

My "Jedi Acolyte" had the "Snap" die.

So it all worked out for me...but only because I bought an entire box.

Yeah...Flat out wrong dice in mine...none of the 5 cards matched the rare/ legendary dice.

I bought alot of Awakenings and never had an issue. In their rush to get product out, quality seems to have suffered.

I bought a box and 18 packs...... all had the correct die and card. Not sure what happened with your packs!

I've had the same issue where I bought a whole box and had two packs where the dice and cards were mixed up.

One pack had Chirrut's card with an Overkill die. Another pack with the Overkill card and the Chirrut die.

I bet if you had bought the whole box, you would have ended up with them all matching up in the end. Someone out there probably got the opposite mix ups from yours.

Yes, its usually self contained to a single box. Id go back to your store and talk to the owner and then Id message your playgroup on FB to see if you can figure out who got what.

I have opened 100+ packs and no mispacks and have only seen one(!) otherwise from someone else who. has also opened about 150. Sorry your packs sucked, that is NOT the norm.

Likewise, I've opened close to 200 packs and never seen this. I'm sorry it happened to all of you, but I'm assuming it's a very rare occurrence. I did see seven legendaries in one box though, so I can only assume that somebody got one less legendary than they should have... so I do feel sorry for that person. That must stink.

Man some guy in China must have had a very long lunch with some very strong drinks.

I doubt anyone here has experienced a box with 10+ boosters not containing the right cards and dice.

I contacted the store and they said the whole box was like that. Crazy. I must say ...if anyone does have to get new cards...the customer service was very good. I got my replacement cards in less than a week. Impressive...most impressive.

Wait, FFG sent you replacement cards to match your die, is that correct?

This seems to be what they do. They consider the die correct and the card wrong, so they ship the card that matches the die.

Yeap other way around would lead to lots of frauds.

I might be wrong, but I thought the FFG policy used to be "we're sending an unopened booster pack for each mismatched die/card reported to us"? Or was it only for misprinted die?
