Norra is a powerful, agile, defensively strong regen ship at PS7 which is rare in escalation and Rex is there to take the heat off her and give her more defensive backup. Rex is there to get Norra to endgame and focus the fire onto him, allowing Norra to kill something worth more than his 18 points, and weather the fire until time, or until she kills whatever's left. Rex also has damage dealing potential in BMST, in case stress is a part of their list.

Shara Bey offers a second regen ship at PS7 that further helps Norra out offensively with the additional target locks, but her own regen makes her capable of sealing endgame as well.

Jess Pava adds a maneuverable stressbot to put the pressure on action-reliant enemy ships, and Shara gains a crew to set up for next rounds addition.

The squad gains a PS4 that can barrel roll, gain a focus and an effective target lock, and remain unstressed thanks to the Inspiring Recruit i added to Shara.
Dial in a green, BB-8 triggers, maneuver, trigger Rage with Pattern Analyzer, clear both stress with Inspiring Recruit. IMO this is a great last round cincher that adds great firepower and mobility to a list that already has a great deal of it.
