Some days, I hate speaking from "Authority", but since you did mention my Baby by name :D

- In the testing for the FC/FCT Interdictor Nose Punch, I basically discovered that one G7-x Bubble is just not enough coverage of a Deployment Zone (DZ Denial) to force a player into it... They can setup Distance 3 from it, and basically still be on a Hot-Run for the Objective that has been chosen... Its even not a massive bubble to split a force in, because if they're smart, they're generally able to nav in to close that gap - and if their ships are Speed 3, that is an easy "Nebulon Shuffle"

It hits hard, no doubt - the combination of Squadrons will hit hard... The problem is going to be if they're hitting a Target at Speed 0 or not, because if they're able to setup outside of it... The combat power of the Nose Punch is greatly diminished.

With the Double-Interdictor Nose Punch, the twinned G7s covers the vast majority of their deployment zone in DZ Denial. And pushes them so far outside of their objective runs that it takes 2-3 turns for them to be able to come in...

Basically - if you can't have multiple targets at Speed 0 to choose from and punish them with - you might as well not be Nose-Punching...

You can still potentially get a killer Jump on a Squadron Group though.

And if you can incenvitise or force your opponent into that G7x bubble zone... GO TO TOWN :D
