The Striker and the U-Wing from rogue one.
They are relatively unremarkable ships with a sound ship cost and playability without wing broken. It the first sign that the IllumiKrayti have learnt to cover there actions better. But when did these ships come out in terms of waves? At a similar time to the great nerf along with a wave of ships that had no turreted ships. Further supporting that they wanted to block the path to them with Skill.
Wait, Pilot Skill. How many generic pilots do we see these days? Next to none that aren't in swarms, look at the final lists, almost no generics. So as we see skill rises and lack thereof falls.
Ths has brings us to the current meta. The only truly broken thing we have, the great toilet seats JM5Ks. So why are they important? They are giant U's, very coincidental to the U wing, hmmm another coincidence that they are also name U-boats? no they represent a U-Turn a return of the game state to its original form, where talent is needed and easy flying doesn't exist.
Te U-Boats are they're pinnacle, they are a lethal scalpel that's used to strip away fat of the green by outphasing them and beating them to a bloody pulp anytime there fielded.
What does that mean for us? It means that they plan to cleave those of us away that lack skill, along with the ships that don't need skill, look at the emphasis turrets have on arcs now, the Rey+Finn and the Synched turret. The want to return the game state. I can't repeat it here because they watch so I've encoded it
