I'm in the final stages of painting my Warden Squad K wing in a livery that is similar to that of the XH588 Vulcan (just noticed that i messed up the Camo a bit as i didnt have the picture to hand last night whilst painting but still)

Without using Transfers, how can i get Crisp, Sharp circles for the RAF Roundels on the Wings and side panel of the cockpit?

The suggestion I've seen is to use cut-off pieces of tube of the right diameter as 'stamps' (i.e. dip the end in paint and just press it on) then fill in with a brush.

But you could also use a hole punch to punch the right sized hole out of your favourite masking tape.

Draftman's circle templates. They have a wide choice of sizes, are transparent so you can align the template with the previous"dot". Just use tape to cover ths unused holes to prevent overspray.

Expect a great deal of difficulty getting multiple concentric circles aligned. It's much easier to do a single one.

The roundels are relatively small. To aid in alignment use some wide masking tape and draw a set of cross hairs on it. Remove a small section where they meet large enough to accommodate the size of the roundels. The drafting templates have cross hairs on them to help in alignment. Start with the larger O.D. circle, paint it, then to the next smaller. With patience and practice you can get good concentricity.
