With models in them.

The RMG core box holds 16 trays easily. That's usually enough for almost any army. Adding a removable level and dividng the vertical area in two leaves you with space for 16 more infantry trays so, one RMG box for up to 32 infantry, one box for siege units and 3d terrain, and my tackle box with all my other components.

Fairly compact for all that I'm hauling around.

I keep my trays in plastic bags, along with everything but the models and mats inside 1 core box. Then I keep the models of each army in a separate plastic box. These are just tall enough for the Oathsworn Cavalry but short enough that the Rune Golems have to lay down. It's about the most space efficient thing I could come up with and it's easy to take to game stores.

I know but I was thinking a more durable solution.

There are a lot of miniature storage solutions on the market from nice bags with foam to laser cut MDF in box storage solutions. I am not sure if there is a go to solution for this game yet, but there are plenty out there to current choose from that would be functional.

I store mine in a fancy glass display case. I transport them in the core box with a cardboard divider running between trays. Planning on getting a tool box and pluck foam in the near future.

Foam trays for all my figs. Movement trays stored in separate tray between layers of foam.

trays in a box, minis are magnetized and sit in a gem tray with a steel bottom...

I have a DeWalt DeepPro organizer left over from figuring out Armada storage. It should be just tall enough to fit two-deep 2-inch pluck foam trays (2.25" actual height). I've got some cheap pluck foam coming so I can work out details. I'll get some small 4" pluck foam trays for the lancers and Golems if this works.

I love pluck foam and hate the cheap crap cases it comes in. This is a win win for me

Everything in the box, with infantry models in plano 3700 tackle boxes ( 14" x 9-1/8" x 2") The cavalry, unfortunately, are a bit too big for the plano. Still figuring out how to store those guys... The big box go back in the box
