Tie droid dials

Which dial gets used- the interceptor or the fighter?

As there is no official tie droid expansion, you can use whatever you like. I am currently semi working on some custom cards for the 6 tie droid fighters I got from Shapeways. Once I am done, I'll post them on this forum and also probably on the painting sub forum. So far I'm thinking about using basic tie fighter stats with one more hull(they had heavier armor than standard ties) and possibly giving them a Tie Interceptor dial or something similar as they were faster than an Interceptor. We'll see.

How soon?

Not for a few weeks probably. I'm kinda busy with real life right now. My basic idea is for the base ship to only cost like 8pts, but require a "Droid control officer" double crew slot to be mandatory.(sort of like the episode 1 droid control ship) The "Droid Control officer" would give the tie Droid swarm a ps of 0 turn 1 and increase each round as the droids "learned" until they were as good as the average of their enemy(math required, so might not be a great idea, but it would be cool)The Ti e droid would be ps 0(base/at first) and be unable to focus and would be unaffected by stress. They would also not be affected by any other friendly model's effects. Their dial would be an all white Interceptor dial with maybe a 3 sloop instead of 3k. I would then make an "offensive droid programming" title card that added a free reroll of attack dice after each non blocked move, and a "defensive droid programming" title that gave a free evade token as well as some sort of evade dice reroll. Each title would free the droid from the Droid control officer crew and cost 4 pts to bring them up to the cost of an Academy tie. I think the general idea is to have a cheap, super easy to kill swarmy ship that really isn't a problem for most aces, but could be an issue for low PS generics. Those are my ideas off the top of my head. They will obviously require play testing and more thorough examination.
