Biggs, Norra and the Rebel TIEs

I continue to tweak who to fly with Biggs and Norra. I got enamored with the idea of Wingman Sabine after posting my Rey/swarm list. She can open up the dials for both Norra and Biggs on the turn after they stress themselves from PtL and R3-A2. Thoughts?

I like Rex with Tactician and BMST. You could do it with Zeb piloting the second TIE.

Wingman only clears one stress from one friendly at a time going off the 'once per opportunity' rule. Between the ARC's above average dial and tail Gunner Norra doesn't need the help near as much as Biggs, although you will have to give up the stiff box formation toward the end of Biggs' run.

I like Zeb crew on a blocker in front of Biggs too :)

I like the Rex idea, but if I dump Sabine for Zeb, I defeat the initial idea for the list, which is Sabine with Wingman.

Yeah, I know Wingman will only work on one or the other, and it'll more likely than not be Biggs. I do like the flexibility it affords, though.

Just checking, in the first post you said it opens the dial for Norra and Biggs rather than Norra or Biggs.

Haha, I actually thought about when driving afterwards, figured someone would call it out. ;)

I'm hoping to give this a whirl later today. If so, I'll report back.

I played one game with this list last night and it went...okay. I lost, but learned some stuff. I'm so used to people automatically attacking Biggs if they have him in arc, regardless of his range to friendly ships, it threw me off when my opponent attacked someone who was out of range 1 from Biggs. I generally failed to keep them in a tight formation, partly because I was just toying around with the barrel rolls of the TIEs. Sabine is kind of awesome. If she had a 3rd attack die, man...she'd be a force. I ended up allowing Norra to be tractor beamed into a position where she'd fly off the board, mostly at full health, so I'll just take that as a lesson learned. I could have easily avoided it, but constantly forget that tractor beams can boost you forward as well.

I don't know if the TIEs are an improvement on the same list with Heff, it probably isn't, which makes me hesitant to try it again. Heff is a great blocker, packs a punch, is pretty survivable and includes some shenanigans with Jyn and the Seismic. The TIEs are just...fun. Sooooo...yeah. I'll probably hang this one up.
