As someone who absolutely loved flying 4 royal guards w/ PTL back in the day (when Imperial Aces first came out), I can tell you that this is the first idea that popped into my head when Intensity was spoiled.

Unfortunately, its a 'fun' list. You are more than welcome to take it to a tournament and try your best to do well, but Intensity is not actually better than PTL on an interceptor (or a-wing). Opening up the dial at PS4 is simply not meaningful enough in the current game state (I mean at a highly competitive level with so much 4+ fully modified red dice being thrown around so easily now). The reality is, this game is less about flying well and outmaneouvering your opponent and more about building lists that pack as much fully modified firepower into the list as possible (and at as high a PS as possible). If the designers keep up the trend, it will be little more than yahtzee with spaceships...

So, PTL remains superior because it allows Focus + Evade (the only real way to protect against high PS alpha strikes when outmaneuvering is removed as a viable option).
