I'm surprised that the 'ban list' is strictly Imperial or Rebel. Was there nothing from Scum that broke the scenarios?

TLT's are usable by Scum, too.

There are 2 components for banning: Theme and Balance. Theme really has just Rebels and Imperials and A rank characters from the plots. Balance is just a few, but TLT is there.

TLTs are generic. Yes, I know and understand the basis of the bans, and agree with them. Thematically, having Rey flying the Falcon is bad... TIE Phantoms break scenarios...

However... Quadjumpers - these are good to go? It's a more modern era type ship... Anyway, just conversation really. I'm not advocating for or against the ban of any Scum. It's not my call and I respect the rules of the scenario.

I know Phil was thinking of including it, but I haven't heard a final decision. I know he's on vacation this week, I believe.

Just thought I'd chime in here real quick about providing upgrades & other cards, etc.

Not that people have sticky fingers, but in the interest of keeping your collections intact, I feel that having proxy cards (photocopies, print-outs or similar) would be a good direction to go.

Things get lost in transit, people leave, forgetting to return things, and so on. Plus you might not have 20 genuine copies of Autothrusters or whatever, but you can copy the image and paste it 20 times easily.
This is for funsies and not an actuall FFG event, so proxies seem like a good idea to me.

Just something for the Shuttle Tydirium crew to consider.

I don't know if it's workable, but it would be super-sweet to just have access to a printer. Build mission squads in (YA)XWMSB (or wherever), print them out, and go. It would save an amazing amount of time.

A small wireless printer is maybe $70. If I had a way to provide one, I would.

From experience, this is certainly a great advantage for major events... when it works. It's when you depend on it completely that something fails. Paper/Ink/Connection Issues/Power Issues...

Good suggestion though, if the Shuttle crew has one available.

We will not have access. There will be no power outlet for us. We want to do video footage, but am not sure about battery life. Same for our cell phones.

Just drop by Tosche Station to pick up some...

I was very surprised not to see Attanni Mindlink on the Ban list. That is something you may need to reconsider as it will make a massive difference in some of the higher point games. Just my thoughts.

some answers for you-

attani and jump masters are being evaluated for balance. I'm not sure yet that they will need attention given the constraints of scenarios and the lack of unique pilots, but these are very much on my scopes.

as far as proxies and lenders- there are a few things there that may be tricky for us but overall we won't be risking a ton of stuff. The unique pilot cards will be no problem - I myself have duplicates for nearly every named pilot already that are of no use to me- I can afford to lose those, straight up. The cardboard inserts are more of an issue; I plan to mark those before distribution.

as far as other cards go, any proxies we hand out will be very rudimentary and cheap. We haven't decided exactly how we do that yet, theough.

the trickiest parts may be ships like the arc-170, attack shuttle, and captured tie, which are different from the ships they are upgraded from. Right now I honk the plan is to provide those ships, but that is pretty risky and puts a significant burden on us

Oh, and my thinking on the quadjumper is that it probably existed pre-episode 7 era, being a commercial tugboat, not a cutting edge Star fighter

I'm glad you are looking at this. I noticed when trying to build rosters that Scum already have a PS advantage and many more EPT carriers. Rebels are at a huge disadvantage because they have exactly 1 generic with an EPT and it is a PS3.

Yeah, and I'm also looking at the imperial hi PS ships such as the glaive SP, and gamma vet. the rebels just haven't gotten those high ps generics with EPTs for some reason. They do have k wings, though. The SLAM action might be tough for other factions to deal with.

SLAM is powerful, yes, specifically the Advanced Slam/Action Bombs.

On the subject of EPTs, if I take a Prototype A-Wing, can I bring an extra A-Wing Test Pilot in the event I manage to draft an Ace A-Wing pilot who can take it? Or can this be equipped/purchased at that time?

I was trying to keep my Rebel squad thematic to your audio drama series but I think that may be to much of a handicap since the X and Y pilots top out at PS4 with no EPT. You could always help us out and add the EPT to the Red, Grey and Dagger squad pilots! Lol

I was doing much the same. X-Wings, Y-Wings and A-Wings. I've got plenty of experience with the X-Wing and Y-Wing generics so it's less a handicap to be handcuffed by the EPTs. Still... At least the ships give me a variety of approaches.

While technically allowed by the rules, the K-Wing wasn't a Rebellion era fighter, it was New Republic, much like the E-Wing as well. I can see why these are included though as it would limit the Rebels choices.

While I love my K-Wings I really can't see them in the trench run or canyon run...they might be fun to bring for some casual games I just don't see them in the trench's
