You may agree or disagree, but personal I feel the empire is currently on the back foot against all the other factions;
(In anticipation of people saying am wrong, just look at worlds and any of the system opens)
What new things do you think FFG could do to make them viable? (Not nerfing something) but making something new.
IMHO I think a new large base ship would help, one with similar stats to the shadow caster, drop the illicit for a system. Is a high speed pursuit craft the punch the empire needs?
Give it similar stress dealing mechanics as Ventress, for one of the abilities for the Aces. A common compliant I hear is the Empire can't deal stress as good as the other factions. This could be a good place to have Thrawn and maybe a crew card that synergies with his ability maybe a Ensign Eli Vanto crew card. Packet it with something that shuts down illicit upgrades, the Empire is the law after all.
Anyway I want to hear people thoughts?
