Definitely get Ordnance Experts on your MC30, it will save you a lot of grief when you roll badly and would not trigger APT otherwise. You can pay for it by downgrading to the Torpedo Frigate.

Just curious about the strategy with the squads. Are you wanting to bomb or fighter screen? Your only escort is the yt1300 which is so much slower than everything else.. unless it's hanging with the b-wings. You also run the risk of getting pinned down all spread out since your squads go all sorts of different speeds.

I so much agree on the OE on the mc30. I usually take those before APT when points are short because I've rolled blank blacks too many times.. is there anything more aggravating than rolling blank blacks??
