I'm thinking about buying this game with the Adventures Toolkit and had some questions about them.

1 . My friends and I play Dark Heresy and we want to do something else when we get a little bored with the 40k universes, so would you recommend getting this or something else, like Dungeons and Dragons (Am I aloud to say that?)

2 . I like a lot of spells and gear with stats and buffs, any if that in this game?

3 . Will I need to buy figures?

1. If you like Dark Fantasy, WFRP is the way to go. If you like generic magic-item/generic-spells fantasy, D&D is the way to go.

2. There are a lot of spells. Equivalent to D&D's powers that wizards or clerics use.

3. No. Figures come with the game. (cardboard standups)
