Still looking for a Manaroo replacement in Parattani.

I know Palob/Fenn/Asajj went undefeated in Swiss at Worlds,and made it to the semis in fact. I tried that list briefly and I simply cant get the same returns from Palob as I would get from even the nerfed Manaroo. I know some people have simply kept playing Manaroo since her ability (even after the nerf) is possibly the best 2 point upgrade over the Contracted Scout you will find. I find the range-1 restriction rather annoying though and I find it messes with my own gameplay more than anything.

I really like the blocking ability and staying power of the Jumpmaster so Im still looking for those magical 2 points of upgrades that will make the Contracted Scout comparable in strength to Manaroo in the Parattani build.

My current idea is Intelligence agent and Rigged Cargo Chute on the Scout. It makes the Scout a bit more of a nuicance since I will probably be playing him as a blocker. The Cargo Chute might not be a game changer since its one time only but hopefully people will get distracted by the possibility of a drop as much as the actual use of it. I have really not used Intelligence Agent much in the past but he should be able to help the Scout and Fenn decide if they want to relocate if moving first and he will help all the ships decide if they want to target lock instead of focus or evade.

Any ideas regarding those last 2 points?

Dont think you can go too wrong with Intel though. Blocking is strong. Tactical Jammers would be a good upgrade. Can help Fenn survive any alpha strikes.

I run a parattanni variant with Ketsu and Teroch instead, but am also looking for a Manaroo replacement. I was thinking of a scout with Greedo and BMST. Ketsu and Teroch do a great job of stripping shields early, and scout can just land a single damage, its faceup every round. Brutal vs Decimators and Ghosts and Reys, etc. Creates a little threat that the opponent has to decide if they want to go for Ketsu or Teroch first and risk faceup cards. BMST for those **** Regening Corran Horns, or any Fenn that decides to tallon roll.

Meanwhile, I have been testing Scyks w/ Fletchette Cannons. Inaldra with Fletchette and Pulse Array Shield is awesome (where the hell is the C-ROC?). She stresses an entire attanni list. And if they go for her, she is three green dice, that can reroll all her green dice, then regen a shield. Can be a pain to deal with. Tried Serrisu, but I didnt like her being PS8, and shooting before Ketsu and potentially having her blocked. Inaldra at PS3 is where I like it :P
