Made it to the cut of a store champ, and lost in top 8 because I missed a range 1 pirate shot into a 1 health miranda.

2-0 so far... against Ghost/Corran and Imperial Jerks
Edited by WiredinSurprise, most of these are scum.. Cause the faction is really good (put very nicely).
100-point Corran looks ridiculous and low-energy on paper but is a fun list to fly and The Kid put it to work in the Open Series.
If only Horn was PS 9 he'd stand a chance against Brokettani
Luke Skywalker (Predator, R2-D2, Shield Upgrade) (39)
Poe Dameron (PS 8) (Push the Limit, BB-8, Autothrusters) (38)

Just some casual games (upgrades cobbled together), but I really expected to get stomped.
BXXZZZ. All PS2 pilots. 15 attack dice, 30 total health. Lead with the Zs, stick the B-Wing to the inside of the formation because it's the slowest.

I've thought about running Intx2, LNx3, Defender- same attack dice, 9 less health, but it's all under 3 agility dice.

My best tournament results so far, and I actually was just trying to get the hang of mindlink lists while my protectorates were on the boat.
Poe, Ello, and Gemmer. Accidentally won a kit event with that list, despite it being built solely so I could make Beastie Boys references with it.
More recently; Snap, Jess, and Norra. This time, primarily so I could make mom/son/daughter-in-law jokes while playing. Turned out to be legitimately good.
I took 2x Gold squadron w/ ion turret and 2x blue squadron with ion cannon and fire control system way back in the wave 4 prerelease tournament. It was my first tournament and I was just hoping to somehow squeak my way through to top 4 by bringing something both unpredictable and easy to play in the hopes I could maybe grab a TIE Defender. It worked, and I managed to snag 2nd place including a lucky upset victory over someone who had just come off a regionals win but had a run of poor defense rolls against my early ion attacks that pretty much sealed his fate after just a couple turns. In the pre-autothrusters era the ion turrets/cannons did serious work against the imperial aces and 4-ship rebel builds that I was matched with.
Dormitz/FCS/Hypercomm, 2x Starkiller base Pilot/FCS/Hypercomm.
2x Starkiller Base Pilot/Collision Detector, Patrol Leader
2x Patrol Leader, Coundown/AA.
You may see a theme emerging. It's hit points. All the hit points.

Last night I was playing Cutting the Cord (Imp Aces) using a Punisher as the prototype and Carnor with Tetran, against a Falcon and X-Wing. One Interceptor took the Falcon, while Tetran got Stunned Pilot on the T-70. The Punisher dropped an Ion Bomb and the x-wing slammed into Tetran and died. Success!

OK, it's not too terribly janky, but it doesn't have MindLink, so maybe it is janky. Anyway, one of the cool things is that it's very Star Wars-y to average people when they walk up to see what you're playing (which sadly is becoming increasingly a real issue in this devolving game). In addition, it performs much better than one would think even in the current overall red-dice and control meta as long as it is not a game for acrylic stuff, as that is when Scum OP shows up in mass.

Chewie (HotR)
Expertise
Lando
Bandit Squadron (4x)
Its was an absurd list, but I wanted to actually use his pilot skill. It was actually hard for my opponent to get a shot on Chewie since the Z-95s just bump everything. They were forced to take more shots at the little guys letting Chewie rip them apart from anywhere with the PWT. Is in no way competitive but fun and confusing to fly against.
