Imperial Advisor Interview with D.G. Laderoute, author of Her Father's Daughter

By cobrophy, in Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Game

We had a chat with D.G. Laderoute, author of the first fiction for the new Legend of the Five Rings setting, about the new setting, the writing process, story prizes, Doji Hotoru, Yoritomo and Fumio the cat. Enjoy and subscribe!

As a bonus here's me making a fool of myself.

Fantastic interview. Thank you.

I also really enjoyed this! Thank you.

Enjoyed it as well.

It would be cool if you would manage to ****** the other writers aswell.

Good job guys! Really liked it :)

Fumio for Emperor!

Loved it! This was my first look at "Imperial Advisor." My only criticism would be that Andy seriously needs more stuff in his room. It looks pretty bare next to the rest of you.

Ha thanks! Andy is the minimalist white room John Lennon of the group (or perhaps he's Yoko).

@cobrophy

Once the majority, if not all, of the cards get revealed, are y'all going to cover some different types of deck builds along with their pros and cons?

Yes absolutely. The group of guys are all experienced and successful card players first and foremost. I suspect before Gencon we wont do much of that sort of content because we'll just be speculating until we've seen a complete list of cards and gotten our hands on them to play some games.

"Her Father's Daughter" is now selectable on Goodreads. I hope each of the short stories follow suit going forward, so I don't have to feel like I'm throwing my life away like I'd been doing with the weekly Magic fiction.
