Some questions after first game

By nungunz, in Runewars Rules Questions

40k and Warmahordes veteran here. Played a demo game and love it so far. The varying initiative be far is my favorite instead of the "I go, you go".

1. Reference guide has a bad index. Who goes chooses activation order if multiple units have the same initiative.

2. Just checking about threat and squaring up. Unit and enemy hero become engaged and square up. The unit will only ever be able to be at threat 1 since at least on tray on each side will have to be perfectly squared up? Seems bad that a 2 edge or 3 edge unit can't have a partial overlap to up their threat.

3. Waiqar hero isengaged with Oathsworn and kills one (one damage icon and 2 threat). Archers then shoot into the combat and roll 3 damage icons. Since the Archers are 2 threat, I hit for 6 and all the Oathsworn are wiped put. Waiqar hero takes a Severity one morsle test (which was a Fear and gets bumped up to 2 morale icons and is ignored). Are we playing this right with the archers?

4. Kari's surge on the melee attack dies not require LOS, right? She attacks some reanimated and rolls 3 surges and a morale. Reanimates take no damage, but test morale and Kari can hit the Carion Worm hidden on the other side of the reanimated for 6 damage (2 wounds) without needing LoS?

1. If you have multiple units at the same int, you choose the order they activate. If you and your opponent have units at the same int, whoever has the round tracker that round (changes side each round) activates one of their units at that int, then the other player activates one of theirs. Back and forth.

2. Threat is determined by the number of trays on your contacted edge. The whole edge, not just the part that's actually touching the enemy formation.

3. Everything sounds right in that scenario.

4. At the moment it doesn't require line of sight or arc, but that could change with an FAQ. (There is some debate about that)

Agreed with all except with number 3, the hero don't do a morale test, he receive a panic token which can be used later by opposite player to increase a morale test.

Edit: My bad, this is a morale test not a panic token, I was wrong, nevemind. You do it right.
