So I've been playing with bombs recently and noticed the 1 straight doesn't have a snug fit in the bombs pegs, so the bomb can like, slide a little. Now, when placing a bomb do you try and place it as centered as possible or however you want as long as the template is between the pegs?
Normally there shouldn't be too much wiggle room, but it can happen. As long as the templates fit between the guides, you should be ok.
Just to clarify, you can place it anywhere you like, as long as the guide is eternal the two nubs. You'll notice theres a bit of wiggle room when maneuvering too.

Thanks, my friend was saying we needed to place it as centered as possible, it doesn't make much of a difference on the game but it's always good to know how to do things the right way.

Yeah, unlike the nubs on ship bases, bombs are a good 1/8th of an inch winder than the templates. So you have a good amount of wiggle room. I've just played it as "between the nubs and you're good".

Pfft, you've obviously never experienced the 2016 first gen top 16 Regional prizes then! The maneuver template doesn't even fit between the nubs.

Which made for a fascinating catch-22. Because you couldn't fit the template between the nubs, it was impossible to legally deploy the mines and therefore they could not be used. But if you shaved some material away so they would fit, you would have illegally modified a component and again, they could not be used.
