How do I know what maps are allowed? Will it be posted? Had the game for awhile but really getting into it now.

The current maps in rotation are Jabba's Palace, Anchorhead Bar and ISB Headquarters. They are respectively from the Jabba villain pack, Obi-wan pack and the Agent Blaise pack.

They change every 4 months or so and yes FFG chooses and rotates the official maps for skirmish. The oldest map that will phase out next is ISB Headquarters followed by Anchorhead and then Jabbas last.

Itll have everything you need to know. And occasionally they'll update the tourney regs and just read it for any updates and to see the new map selected. Also should check out the FAQ.

a minor note-
there are generally 3 levels of play when it comes to tournaments

If it's a "special" FFG event aka Premier (Store championship, regional etc..) the Store/TO should be following the highest level of expectations

if it's a "Casual" event the TO can set the standard of play expectations (alternative maps...)

and if it's a league or intro event
the expectation is that everyone just has fun and learns the game- competition should not be the primary goal of the event
