Playing around with ideas for the new ept just anounced.

The question is can Garven spend a focus token at the end of the round even if he has full shields??? If so he can help Kyle store focus tokens at the beggining of the game. Also at the start snap banks an evade and round 2 turn his own card over.

Kyle can then give garven focus tokens, who can spend one during combat and pass it on to either of the other ships and spend one at the end on his own shields and pass it to snap to turn Intensity over. So snap is potentially regening, boosting, getting a free evade, taking another action of choice, sometimes banking an evade and turning his ept all in one round.

If either garven or kyle go down shenanigans can still continue.

Seems fun anyway.

Red Squad Vet,

Intensity, comm relay, Auto thrusters, and Targeting Astromech. I call it "DEFEND THIS"

For thirty five points, you have a pseudo defender with Boost and comparable action economy.

Take these two bad girls along with Jess with R2 and Primed thrusters + Integrated Astro

You got a squad of girls that refuse to be held down :)

PS 9 Poe with R5-P9 and Comms Relay. Charge Comms Relay turn one; when you don't need to regen, reset Intensity.

I think Poe with r2d2 will work better. Means he can reset more often. I still prefer the action economy of snap though. He gets to regen, free evade and take a focus every turn.

Then with this list if he has a token spare he can turn the card. If he doesnt garven can give him one.

For the same cost you can get PTL + PA which is more flexible although Intensity Poe is more tanky. The problem comes once you are in battle, it is quite hard to recharge your Comms Relay as Poe will only have a single action and will normally want that to be Focus rather than Boosting just to trigger Intensity a second time.

If you want to abuse Comms Relay, just pop it on Red Ace and be done with it. I think Poe works much better with PTL + PA.

Has anyone noticed yet that Garven with R2-D6 and Intensity can potentially spend his focus token, pass it to someone else, and they can spend it, to flip two intensities in one round with one token?

Seems like a possibly neat thing, not sure if it's actually useful.

It's not a bad idea, the only problem is that Garven himself is not especially useful and is hampered by his T65 chassis.

The problem with this is that he doesnt have boost or br so you will have to give up integrated for vector thrusters. With my init list he still gets to spend at the end of the round aswell as his attack. turning 2 focus tokens into 4
