Greatswords Question (not the usual one . . . )

By Johan Willhelm, in Warhammer Invasion Rules Questions

Hi there,

Have just got hold of Warhammer Invasion (and have just spent approximately the last 12 hours playing the Dickens out of it with my mates) and we to were perplexed over the Greatswords specia ability. Now I know the there's been discussion on whether Greatswords can count themselves entering a zone for their bonus but my question is as follows:

Do Greatswords gain an extra "hammer" for each unit that enters the zone or do they just get a single "hammer" for units entering the zone regardless of number?

e.g: Bob has Greatswords in his Battlefield zone. This turn he adds a Warrior Priest Card, a Reiksguard Knights card and a Pistoliers card.

Do the Greatsowrd get 1 "hammer" bonus or 3?

Cheers all

Johan

Their ability is triggered once for each unit entering their zone. Thus, they gain 1 hammer for each unit entering their zone.

So for your example, they get +3.

If a unit (for instance, Pistoliers) enters the same zone as the Greatswords multiple times in the same turn, do the Greatswords gain +1 each time?

each time a unit enters the zone, so yes

Hi guys,

I have a question. I readed F.A.Q.s and I want to explain if Greatswords Forced efect does work in turn when they goes in play or not? Term goes off is hardly tranlslated to our czech language it have several meanings, that is why ask this question..

Yes. One hammer is added to them the turn that they enter play from themselves entering that zone. They trigger themselves in other words. here 'goes off' = 'triggers'

Thanks very much!!
