Help with the Smugglers

I have been trying to perfect an all smuggler list for Rebels since I started playing the game.

Jabba's Realm and the new cards have really helped me at least stay in games and sometimes have a chance to win a few.

I know some of these figures are LESS than competitive, but I believe it just makes me a better player to play with tissue-paper figures or think of ways to keep them alive. Sometimes, I just get really lucky too.

Stealing the initiative multiple times really wrecks people's plans if I can keep my figures alive long enough make something out of it. 5pts from Smuggling is also a boon. There is some consistency of damage from focus and Hera's re-rolls. (she's way better than the other elite smuggler I used to run) I still wish I could use Saska effectively and maybe sneak in some Weequay but then the list changes radically and I feel I should be playing Mercs after that.

What do you think? I find if I can get Jyn to live for a couple of rounds, she starts slaying figures left and right, People are always worried about Han. Chopper is my Bane, but otherwise I can get enough cards to really start rolling. Run for Cover is fantastic as is On the Lam in keeping me alive and very frustrating to my opponent.

I'd really like to find a reliable way to Hide the eSmuggler, but I use my ccards so much, that Murne has never been a great option for me

I've been running a rebel list of

chewie

obi wan

Lando

Hera

Elite Alliance Smuggler

C1-10P

and smugglers run.

Now it's not completely smuggler admittedly but chopper is an honours smuggler, and well obi wan just needs smuggling somewhere for a super secret mission... thematically aside though

Chewie and obi work well together l, Chewie keeping obi in the game longer with slam and ibis attack and mind trick, I've been using them as my go to team to take terminals. Hera works well with lando, her buffs giving you more freedom when you re roll lando's attack dice. Chopper is perfect for sticking on your home control point as he can sting your opponents base keeper. Finally the alliance smuggler floats about where he can be most useful. I'm torn between attaching smugglers run to chewie and hammering into the opponents zone, or by sneaking in last minute with the smugglers higher movement value.

The regular Smuggler is a good cheap activation for taking crates, opening doors, etc. The elite version is just too expensive for this.

I don't really like Smuggler's Run, especially on such an expensive figure. It just limits your strategy.

Han is way too expensive.

The rest of your team seems to be playable. Certainly not Tier 1, but Ok.

Try Chopper, he's great. Obi would e a nice addition, too.

Han is about 4-5pts too expensive but he is deadly. I think chopper is a great addition to any army.

5pts for smugglers run is a lot of points, I just haven't figured out who it should go on yet.

If you're already set on bringing Saska, try putting Smugglers run on Greedo and maybe drop the eAlly Smuggler. Greedo has better speed, and the action spent for SR is mitigated a bit since greedo can still get a parting shot off if they choose to attack.

Smugglers run costs only 1 point but earns you 5 vp's
