- Hour spent painting: app. 35
- Blog writing: 40+ hours
- Reading blog articles and forum posts: ruins my private life
- Fleet building: ruins my professional life
So, what is the take away? I should quit Armada! Guess what? I don't!

So my collection is somewhere around 682,51$ worth ( I dont have 5 Rebel Figthers II Expansion packs, but the oter fighter packs were out of Stock), but I only paid 399,12$ for it.

12 might actually be fairly generous. I'm the only one in my (small) gaming circle who plays Armada - most folks only play X-wing. I've been trying to find a FLGS, but I don't drive and I'm in the Northern NJ area, which means driving is essential for such a thing.
I tend to enjoy making things more than I do actually playing anyways. KDY and all the painting is part of that (most of that 1200 to third party is shapeways)
The big question for me is when do I start selling off some of my models, let's be honest I'm never going to use 4 VSDs, 22 tie fighters, 4 Neb Bs etc.......when does it become time to slim down and give the newer waves more space.
I've probably only spent a total of around £500, but that's because I generally trawl the second hand market and buy stupid cheap internet sales. since I have four of allmost everything apart from large ships and core sets ( two each), my collections retail must be large (£1500), comp costs have been low apart from attending regionals/nationals, as a club the shop let's us run our own tourneys and we only need to recoup the retail cost of the kits, So we only charge members about £2-3 per comp kit we go through.
in balance If I sold all the swag I've won from competions ( which I'm not) it would sell for around the £300-400 mark (dice and admiral cards mainly) so all in all if I sold up today I would probably be in profit.
games played: more than I can remember, less than I would like.
