So much "this doesn't seem like it should work, but it does"! Especially with the Lancer--hella striking, dude. The giant white emblem on the all black ship is gorgeous, and I love that you've managed the look while still including enough weathering-effects to make the sinister bastard look lived in.

I also dig the "decloaking" and scales on the Starviper.

It was a tricky ship to paint, and after my first pass something just wasn't right... it was too clean, looked factory fresh, and that really didn't fit the Scum theme... so on with some sponged on battle damage ! and it brought it all together !

It's a bit like when I paint the bases... the purple and blue tones don't really stand out all that much against the black, until you add the stars.. and suddenly it all comes together and really brings out the colours !

Didn't want to include them on this one, as I want this for my finished ships, but it shows how I taped off the ship etc to work on the Black Sun symbol, and engine glows etc

But all the rest is 'Impressive... Most impressive'
