Can anyone shed some light (beyond what wookieepedia says) on this ancient sith weapon? Specifically some sort of visual reference...how similar (if it all) was it to a lightsaber?

Here's a link to the description for KotOR. Seems to be some kind of vibrosword or sword. Most of the KotOR swords used the same model, just with palette swaps.
