Man... makes me glad I went to a vocational school.... it's a shame they don't push that harder in highschools. Learning a trade before you even turn 18 so you can have a living wage right out of school, that's the way to do it. lol

I took welding for a year in high school and it was a blast. I know some people that did half time at high school because they were training for a job when they graduated. Typically in the mechanical, farming or welding/construction industry.

There was an actual "career center" near me, they taught everything from IT, child care, cosmetology CAD drafting to welding , automotive repair, machining... helped us get jobs once we were certified too...

Nah, I assume he still needs to pay for Ice Cube like the rest of us. NWA still charges for albums, I believe, although I doubt he knows where Compton is and how to be Straight Out of it.

My wife, Elita, (you know her, crazy, it's like we're friends or something) was also freaking out about that. Being a family med doctor is the most overall useful but least well-paid form of doctor and you still get crazy med school bills like you're going to be a celebrity butt surgeon, so that debt assistance for public service/non-profit professionals has been a big part of our long-term "hooray, no more debt" plan. Suffice it to say we're not happy about the proposed schemes to gut that, but there's some chatter about it not applying to those who have already applied for the program (assuming the elimination of the program actually goes through) and are working towards it, given the legal everything. If Sara hasn't already submitted her paperwork to get on that program, she should.

She has, she was just complaining about everything with it yesterday. There's a lot more feelings I have with regards to this all and everything, but this is NOT the place for political discussion, so I'm not getting into it. Well, US political discussion. The Imperial war machine is out there manufacturing wars against Rebels who just want to live in peace! Alderaan did nothing wrong!
