RLB and Hyperspace Assault

By Teloch, in Star Wars: Armada Rules Questions

So I'm sure this has been answered, but I didnt see anything in a search.

How does RLB work with Hyperspace Assault? With the Quasar coming soon, can I set aside my 4 squadrons, then that whole thing counts as my small-medium ship and I can choose another 3 squadrons?

yes, it was talked about with the victory previously.

So, you can place 4 squadrons in the Quasar, then when declaring hyperspace ships, set aside the quasar with 3 other squadrons. If you include expanded hanger bays, you could have a potential 5 squadrons in the quasar for a total of 8 squadrons in hyperspace. The quasar 1 would allow you to do this. Have fun.

Both quasar have at least one offence slot ;) , so both would allow it.

The Quasar I has two, for hangar bays and boosted comms.

But yes, you can easy hide 8 squadrons in the hyperspace. It only reduce your deployments by 5. Not this bad, when you plan for it.

.. and couple it with Flight Commander ... BOOM-shack-a-lack

Lack of deployments is the issue - I used to have it my RLB/Yavaris/Rieekan list but coming up against high deployment Demolisher lists is bad. It always gets picked and Demo is always deployed last targeting Yavaris.

It's amazing when you pull it off but it never gets picked unless you're at a disadvantage.

I went VIP instead to make use of my VCXs.
