Does anyone know if the old FAQs are available for download? I'd like to go through them.

There's a guy on the forums who downloaded and stockpiled all of them. I don't know where to find them out in the wild, but if this stays on the front page long enough, you're bound to catch his attention and I bet he would share.

I need to start doing up ship/upgrade writeups, and that would be a pretty handy resource.

Do a general search for them. FFG's website still hosts them but lacks any links.

If you know the exact version number, you can often Google it.

The Internet Wayback Machine ( https://web.archive.org ) has snapshots of the whole FFG website going back a couple of years. Put http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/products/x-wing/ in the search bar.
