Are you a one faction player?

Just rebels and imperials. I don't own a scum ship, and it sucks that some of the upgrades I need/want are from scum packs and I really don't want to buy individual cards. I.E. BTL, autothrusters.

I play Imperials exactly 59.60% of the time. Rebels, 20.53% of my plays, and Scum, 19.87%.

But I'm better with Imperials, too. I win 56.67% of my games with the Empire, 45.16% of the games with Rebels, and only a measly 33.33% of my Scum games.

I fly primarily Rebels. I do so because I love the classic Rebel starfighters from the movies and I enjoy flying something that doesn't disappear when I roll blanks on green dice... (er, A-Wings get a special exception...)

I like my Imperials but my TIE Fighters pop like crazy. That said, in epic, I love taking out the Raider, I've always liked the big Imperial ships and with them on the map suddenly the TIEs are totally thematic and appropriate and serve me better.

Scum... Well, I have a handful of ships and I've flown them all... but... well... They haven't caught my interest. I recognize that's where to power combos are currently living, but no.

I was at first to "save money" but now I have at least 1 of all the expansions (excluding epic) and I play all the factions pretty equally. Depends on how I feel and who Im playing with s far as faction choice.

I have all the imperial ships including the raider; most of them I have multiples of.

I have most of the small based rebel terrorists so I can fly against their wily ways and scum cross over. (tertiary) My buddy collects Rebels so its a $ thing.

I have 1 or more of most of the scum ships small and large but still prefer the Empire. (secondary)

I have lots of all the factions...love all the iconic SW ships the best! ...I do have some Rebel (as in the cartoon) ships (a few) and I'm trying to be OK with some of the very odd Scum ships that have tiny amounts of "core cannon" in their blood ?

Right now Scum is just so d*** auto pilot win, you have to like them.....as you hopefully feel guilty.

Imps are still the most fun to fly.

Rebels are great at all the interactions and droids, etc.

Greatgame!!!

1 faction buyer - Scum (was all 3 right when i first got interested). I do fly rebs/imps sometimes 20% maybe? But don't buy all 3 factions.

As other have said - cost/resource (storage is a big one) balance issues. I have more than a handful of hobbies that are draining on both. If i wanted to buy more factions i could, but it would be at the expense of another interest/hobby

I rotate factions between every tournament, Rebel, Imperial, Scum, Repeat...

Yes. Imperial/First Order. Partly to restrict my spend but also I don't have the time learn to play the two Scum factions.

I buy them all, I play them all (my poor poor wallet)

I started out only playing against my brother way back in Wave 1. We decided that I would fly Empire and he would fly Rebels, so that way we would have everything. He has since lost interest in the game, while I'm as diehard as ever. So about a year ago I bought his half of the collection from him and of course I collect all the Scum ships, so I have at least one of each expansion. (most of the small ships I have enough to fly a whole list of the generics) That being said, I only ever fly Empire and very occasionally I will fly Scum. I never fly the Rebel ships.

Before yesterday I would have assumed this was a joke. But now. . . .I've seen the chart. :)

I play Imperials and First Order and (almost) never mix them (I'm planning on doing a FO repaint defender and punisher, but I'm first waiting for the new movie).

I own almost everything, and two or more of most that I enjoy flying. I think I own 8 A-Wings..... and no one (even me) knows why I own 4 E-Wings.... but hey, plastic crack is plastic crack.

I primarily play rebels, but I've been toying around more and more with imperial and scum stuff recently. Flying what I like mostly, ie: making Phantoms and Vader work in this meta is pretty tough.

Rebel only, I tried Imperial but they require to gentler hand for me and I can't be arsed with all the trickery and combinations of Scum.

I mainly play Scum, and it's the only faction I play competitively. I do however own at least 1 of every non-epic expansion and I do run Rebels and Empire occasionally in friendly games.

I love them all, so I've had to commit to a "system" so I can get to all the ships I have. The system is pretty simple: this month is Rebels, next month is Scum, and then Imperials after that. Repeat.

My problem was that I'd be so scattershot with what I'd be flying from game night to game night that I never really "got to know"my lists or my ships all that well. This way helps me focus on a set of ships and work out their strengths and weaknesses. I've been winning more too. It used to be once every 20 or so games. Now it's about 1 in 5.

I really do love all three factions, so when the next big shiny list or ship comes my way it's easier now not to jump over to it. And I find it builds up anticipation for it. Right now I'm really looking forward to flying Bombing Y's, N'dru & a Quadjumper list, but that's going to have to wait until June.

I play a little with all three, but far more with the Empire and Rebels than with scum. I just like the thematic unity of those factions better than the "everything else" flavor of Scum.

Scum Faction is the only thing that dragged me to this game. I play only Scum & Villain because...we are cool. We are the bad guys with a good aim.

I'm not that much into Scum & Villainy but Mercenaries could be promising. Think about it how much better your Boba Fet would be for your Galactic empire Squadron if he could re-roll dice instead of switching banks?;)

hey RW! i remember yo from the ol days when we were helping develop Scarlet Cowgirl. Remember that? man has the game changed since then. So many ships. I love the addition of scum but the power creep has shelved so many ships. eg firespray is a rare bird now. You still see it but it makes u think fondly of the old days way back in like wave3 eh? Remember when fat han was the list to beat? and then the double falcon lists? now xwingers have all new technological terrors called jumpmasters to defeat ;)

to me it makes sense financially to focus on one faction primarily. you should still buy some ships from other collections but unless u r a collector your wallet is going to feel the hurt of you not playing ships that u just bought for the upgrades imo.

Imperial only. It's what I can afford and I like the look of the ships once I've painted them. I also like the archetypes.

I'm actually not that happy to see Imperials branch out to TLT Carriers but I don't have to fly it that way. As Nand proved at Worlds sometimes the obvious Miranda isn't always the best Miranda.

I flew Mindlink Aces once in a kit tournament before they were everywhere. We had just come off Nats here and I really wanted a break from flying the same Imperial list against Dengaroo. It was a nice distraction but it felt super dirty.

Now that Imperials have had x7 and Palp pulled back into orbit I'm really enjoying the possibilities of the Imperial faction. The door is open, the squads are not obvious and many parts have an opportunity to shine.

Also I like flying the stuff everyone says is bad.

I have some of everything, but I'm really an Imperial player. 98% of competitive games are with Imperials, maybe 95% casual games. I didn't do this on purpose, but I played TIE Fighter on the PC in my formative years, and that stuff puts deep roots into you. I think the only thing that could really bring me out of it is if T65s had in game abilities that matched their role in the universe.

I buy and play everything and lose my mind balancing squadron ideas around my head.

I pretty much own multiples of everything (besides buying even one copy of the rebel transport because I believe that's the ugliest ship in the universe), but I probably play Imperials 80% of the time, Skum 15% of the time and the rest of the time I'll try out the Rebel terrorists.
