Hi, I understand you cannot use multiple evade or focus tokens in a single round if it is for the same purpose but;

when attacked can you use both a single evade and a focus at the same time?

Example:

Chewbacca rolls a blank and a focus against 3 hits from the attacker.

I spend a focus to switch dice to an evade and use an evade token to cancel a hit thereby only taking one hit.

Yes. You can use both tokens.

An evade token adds an evade result by the way. Depending on which rulebook you are reading that may not be clear.

I got a question similar. But with sensor cluster and two focus tokens.

Say, tthe attacker has three hits. I roll three defence die, one evade, one focus and one blank. My ship has two focus.

Do i get to use one for sensor cluster, then another for the focus die? Or do i only get to choose one of the two?

You can do both, just cannot spend them both for their standard effect

Focus, evade, and target lock tokens cannot be spent for their normal effect more than once during the "Modify Attack Dice" and "Modify Defense Dice" steps. For example, a ship cannot spend 2 evade tokens to add 2 evade results. However, a ship can spend more than 1 of each token on different effects, such as spending 1 focus token as the cost for Calculation and another focus token focus token for its inherent effect.
