So I am wondering. I know ships which overlap will be touching, but are there other ways of getting ships to be touching, since that is the trigger for BoShek.

If I barrel roll with a ship, is it possible to count as touching if you place yourself to where they are physically touching? Or can you only 'touch' other ships if you bump?

Wondering if I can barrel roll BoShek's ride to effect a ship.

in x-wing a touching condition happens when ships overlap during movement and can not complete their maneuver. If during the movement the ship is able to make full contact with the mat but look like they are touching they are not really touching Same goes for barrel rolls, barrel rolls can not cause an overlap condition that leads to touching.

Yup. Touching doesn't refer to the physical state, it's a keyword for 'this ship overlapped that ship and neither ship has yet moved in a way such as to break the condition', and therefore it can only arise as a result of a manoeuvre.

Note however that Daredevil and SLAM are manoeuvres, and can therefore trigger the Touching status to begin.
