Rebel CC list help needed

By chrisrivers, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

I m going to be starting a CC campaign soon and I have been put on the Rebel side. Problem is, I have only played maybe two games with Rebels and that was back in Wave 2. Any help would be appreciated.

Here is what I have:

Rebel CC list (394/400)

======================

MC80 Command Cruiser (106 + 27)

+ General Dodonna (20)

+ Electronic Countermeasures (7)

MC30c Torpedo Frigate (63 + 8)

+ Admonition (8)

CR90 Corvette A (44 + 7)

+ Turbolaser Reroute Circuits (7)

GR-75 Medium Transports (18 + 8)

+ Bomber Command Center (8)

GR-75 Medium Transports (18 + 7)

+ Toryn Farr (7)

Biggs Darklighter (19)

2 x VCX-100 Freighter (15)

3 x X-wing Squadron (13)

Advanced Gunnery

Fire Lanes

Salvage Run

Dodonna, BCC and Ywings go together like peabut butter, jelly, and sliced bread. If you are only going with Red bombers then bcc is a waste of points.

Also, if it's been a while on Rebels I always the 80 an unforgiving ship to play. Maybe a assault frigate with flight controllers and another cr90 trc instead of the 80 and the bcc?

That's my best suggestion. Or pick up some intel and lean Y wings. With dutch, norra, gold, and a swarm of generics Dodonna can be very very dangerous.

Thanks for the advice,

How about this:

Dodonna CC mk 2 (398/400)
========================
Assault Frigate Mk.II B (72 + 4)
+ Boosted Comms (4)
MC30c Torpedo Frigate (63 + 8)
+ Admonition (8)
CR90 Corvette A (44 + 7)
+ Turbolaser Reroute Circuits (7)
GR-75 Medium Transports (18 + 22)
+ General Dodonna (20)
+ Comms Net (2)
GR-75 Medium Transports (18 + 8)
+ Bomber Command Center (8)
Luke Skywalker (20)
Jan Ors (19)
Biggs Darklighter (19)
Norra Wexley (17)
Rogue Squadron (14)
X-wing Squadron (13)
Gold Squadron (12)
2 x Y-wing Squadron (10)

Not to sure about objectives.

Most wanted, Superior Positions, don't have any idea on the yellow one.

If you put flight controllers on the AF instead of boosted coms you dont waste any points since anything left over from the initial 400 doesn't carry over.

Also, contested outpost is always good, very hard to go wrong there especially if you go Gallant Haven down the line and can mitigate squad damage and heal on the station as you defend it. Makes it a very dangerous objective for them to pick.

The station does not heal in contested outpost, unfortunately. It does provide a spot that the enemy will have to focus on or give me points. Sit the squadrons near it and dare them to go into that squadron cloud. Would fire lanes be good with this list?

Ah forgot it wasn't just player 1 that couldn't heal. That must be station assault. Fire Lanes, Sensor Net, heck even Minefields are all suicide unless you bring strategic. If you pop a vcx in there they become options. I still wouldn't do fire lanes though, to easy to have it flop on you.

Fighter ambush or c.o. are good bets, since I actually wouldnt bother with vcx's. Just pack as many Y wings in there as points and or your collection will allow.

OK, so I switched out Boosted Comms for FC and using Contested outpost as my Yellow obj. I had another thought, though of using Leia on one of the Transports instead of Comm Relay and dropping Gold to a generic Ywing. What do you guys think?
